Dorsey Taylor Homes was founded on the belief that affordable housing is more than a physical structure — it is the foundation of family stability, neighborhood health, and long-term opportunity. We combine development work with housing education so that the homes we build become homes families can keep.
Our Mission
To create lasting housing stability for underserved Philadelphia families through affordable housing development, neighborhood revitalization, and practical housing stability education.
We focus especially on supporting women, low-to-moderate income families, and individuals transitioning from shelters or temporary housing — meeting people where they are and walking with them toward where they want to be.
